Meet Your Teachers

Michael (200HR RYT, Level 1 Baptiste Yoga)

discovered yoga as a way to ease the tightness built up from years of long-distance running. What began as a practice for recovery quickly became a passion that opened him to the possibility of moving through life with more purpose, ease, and connection.

As a teacher, Michael thrives on creating meaningful impact in the lives of his students. He teaches an alignment-based power flow designed to build both physical strength and mental resilience. His classes emphasize mind-body awareness, steady progression, and the kind of practice that empowers students on and off the mat.

In Michael’s classes, students can expect to sweat, twist, and hold postures that challenge while grounding them. His goal is to guide each person into a powerful experience every time they step onto the mat—one that leaves them with a little extra “something.” Even if it can’t be named right away, in time, that “Aha!” moment always arrives.

Amanda (RYT 200HR, 200HR Forrest Yoga )

holds a 200-hour certification from Forrest Yoga, a 200-hour certification from Raffa Yoga, and additional 50-hour certifications in Yin, Restorative, Aeriel yoga, Yoga Nidra, Somatics, and Stretch Therapy. She is both an energetic practitioner and a sound healing facilitator.

Amanda believes deeply in the power of linking breath with movement and mind with body. She enjoys teaching the softer sides of yoga, weaving mindfulness, breath, energy, and sound into every class.

Andrew Belcher, LICSW, E-RYT 500 (he/him)

is the founder of Middle Way Wellness. He is a clinical therapist, yoga teacher, theater artist, and sailor. His practice centers on the curious, playful exploration of mind and body through talk and trance therapy, yoga, and meditation.

Andrew has taught classes and assisted teacher trainings with YogaWorks, Shambhala Yoga & Dance, and Third Root Community Health Center in New York City. He sees yoga as a technology for cultivating self-awareness and creativity by mindfully building strength, flexibility, and confidence. His classes and workshops are personalized, process-oriented, and fun.

Domenic (E-RYT 500)

After over a decade in construction, namely concrete work, Domenic was amazed to discover the meditative benefits gained through the sacred science of yoga. Once the practice began healing his internal struggles, he dropped everything to dedicate his life to it. Since then, he has become an E-RYT 500 and strives to reinforce the philosophical and psychological lessons behind the physical movements.

Ranging from restorative and meditative practices to strength-inducing, powerful flows, Domenic caters to each individual in the class to ensure a structurally sound and safe practice. He loves yoga and hopes to share his passion for the practice with as many people as possible, along with all its amazing benefits.

Jeffery (RYT 200HR)

discovered yoga in 2018 during a time when he was searching for purpose. Since then, yoga has helped him build an ever-evolving relationship with himself—one that continues to grow both on and off the mat. Through asana, meditation, and breathwork, he believes we can deepen our connection to ourselves and to those around us.

Teaching is his way of giving back what yoga has offered him over the years. Whether through slow, mindful movement, intentional breathwork, or moments of stillness in meditation, his goal is for each person to leave feeling more grounded, more aware, and more connected—to themselves and to the world around them.

Kelly (RYT 200HR)

discovered yoga after a life-altering car accident, finding it to be a pathway to movement and healing. This transformative experience ignited her passion for the practice, prompting her to pursue certification in 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga. As a proud mother, herbalist, and beekeeper, Kelly integrates the wisdom of nature into her teachings, creating a holistic approach that resonates with both body and spirit.

Specializing in true Vinyasa, Kelly begins each session with a meaningful intention. She thoughtfully curates sequences of poses and flows, interspersed with insightful readings that connect the practice to deeper themes of life and wellness. Kelly believes that yoga is not just a physical practice but a way to nurture our connection with ourselves and the world around us. Her goal in each class is to guide students through a journey that leaves them feeling calm, recentered, and renewed.

Luis

Luis Rivera discovered Kundalini Yoga as a powerful tool for managing ADHD, which eventually transformed his life mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

With over 17 years of experience in the healing arts—including practicing as a massage therapist and breathwork instructor—Luis brings a deep, holistic understanding to his teaching.

He is dedicated to designing classes that provide a safe and compassionate space for students to heal and empower themselves through the practice of Kundalini Yoga. His integrative approach helps students harness their inner energy for profound personal change.

Sarah (RYT 200HR, she/her)

has been hooked on the practice of yoga since 2009. After a lifetime as an athlete and runner, Sarah was searching for something to connect her body and mind—something that could unite her spirituality with her athleticism. In 2022, she attended the Kootenay Yoga School in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, where she received her 200-hour certification. Sarah immediately began teaching at her home studio in Baltimore, MD.

She believes yoga has the power to transform through the physical asanas, but more importantly, to transform the mind. Sarah is passionate about meeting her students with positive affirmations, meaningful guided pranayama, and a powerful flow. Her goal is for all students to leave feeling happy, healthy, and grounded.

Outside of the studio, Sarah is an elementary school teacher who brings her passion for yoga to her little yogis every day.

Sathyadev (he/she/they)

has always been a seeker on the spiritual path. Over the past 13 years, they have immersed themselves in the study and practice of yoga, meditation, energy healing, bodywork, and tarot. In 2012, they met their Guru, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi—affectionately known around the world as Amma, the hugging saint. That sacred meeting profoundly changed the course of their life and became the foundation in their practice of Hinduism and Hatha Yoga.

Sathyadev’s work in the yoga world is rooted in the ongoing process of decolonization and reverence for the authentic cultural roots of Yoga. Having studied in both India and the United States, they weave the ancient teachings of yoga with the wisdom of somatic awareness, informed by their background in massage and bodywork. Each class is designed to honor the full, sacred breadth of the practice—infused with Asana (yogic postures), Pranayama (breath control), Mantra (sacred Sanskrit sound), and Dhyana (meditation).

Their classes are a space for remembrance and return—a place to slow down, come home to the body, and reconnect with the innate intelligence that already resides within. Students are guided to explore the body, surrender the ceaseless movement of the mind, and open the heart to witness what arises.

Whether you are a longtime student of yoga or a complete beginner, Sathyadev invites you to join them in the journey of merging your individual wave of inner consciousness with the vast Ocean of Consciousness itself. Their classes are open to ALL bodies, ALL identities, and ALL levels of experience.
